MISSION

Sundance Nature Alliance’s mission is to preserve the land and watershed located in the North Fork of Provo Canyon by igniting curiosity, nurturing creativity, and inspiring action in our great outdoors.

We continue the Redford family legacy of stewarding the land through art in nature.

We create and conserve climate-resilient landscapes by protecting and restoring streams, wetlands, soils, and native plant communities for the benefit of wildlife and people who enjoy and depend on a healthy watershed.

We foster deep relationships between people and nature and cultivate a community artfully inspired to protect our natural world.

WHY WE DO THIS

We’d like to be around for awhile.
We’d like our children and planet to have a future.

The most pressing issues of global climate change are of great concern here on the southeast slope of Mt. Timpanogos—air and water quality, deforestation and biodiversity, drought and wildfires.

For alpine communities like ours, drought, shrinking snowpacks, and warmer winters are existential challenges. Like much of the American West, wildfires impact the land we hike and the air we breathe. Worldwide, shrinking biodiversity is a growing threat.

We act now for tomorrow. We act locally on global issues.

Your gift today protects our future here on the southeast slope of Mt. Timpanogos.

Join a community united by love for this land, invested in our environment, and inspired to act on behalf of our planet.
